Riddle 118

In veils of gray, I softly fall,

A whispering shroud, a gentle call.

From heavens' heights, I downward flow,

A dance of tears, a silent show.

I cloak the earth in silver thread,

Each droplet's tale, left unsaid.

I cleanse the land, renew its grain,

Yet still, my mystery may remain.

What am I, this elusive bane?

A puzzle sought, yet not in vain.

Choose wisely, let your intuition guide,

For in this riddle, truths abide.
