Riddle 125

In lands afar, my journey starts,

Through trials dire, I play my part.

From strife and war, I must depart,

With hopes of solace in my heart.

Through deserts vast and oceans wide,

I seek a haven, where I'll reside.

In foreign lands, where I abide,

A nameless wanderer, fate my guide.

Though borders bar, and walls enclose,

In search of peace, my spirit grows.

In every land, my story flows,

A soul in need, where'er it goes.

What am I, this traveler true?

In search of safety, a life anew.

Choose wisely, let your intuition guide,

For in this riddle, truths abide.
